From what I hear these are pretty close to the B16s in terms of performance, and it seems like people are buying these over the Bilsteins just due to availability.
My car doesn't have EDC. So I will be getting the whole Tractive shebang - dampers + their ACE controller. This will give me tons more adjustability and in-car tuning capability. Will post a review after I get it done but may be closer to the end of the year.
Coughed up the cash at the dealer for a new battery as I started having a strange CC-ID 207 (Central Electronics Failure) pop up with no trouble codes showing up in Carly or ISTA, and I could not clear it. Battery was an Autocraft AGM I bought at Autozone in October 2018 that still seemed to be "ok". Clearly it wasn't as the new battery instantly cleared up the issue. Glad I started with the battery as I was about to go down the rathole on alternator, Junction Box, footwell module, etc. Will stick to BMW sourced batteries from now on.

So took her out for a spin today, mainly to top off the tank. Have not been getting great mileage since the Harrop came off and I have gone back to a stock tune with the Akra Evo for the time being. CEL hell, ugh. Plan is to get Mike to hook me up before too much longer. But anyway...

So I looked down and didn't realize how close I was to a major milestone. Maybe next week, or could be at the C&C the following week. Girl is getting up there, lol.

Also, I have been having some flakey shifting issue, including it not wanting to move when cold unless I rev it up good a couple times. Decided to check the fluid level and sure enough put maybe half a liter in before it was running out. Would not have thought that small amount could make that much of an issue, but seems it can. DCT fluid is like $40+ a damn liter too! Damn money pit!!

Ström 359's replicas shood with Conti SportContact 7 and CF mirrors went on today. Wheels seems fine but the paint finish is not OEM but you need to be up close to spot it.

Link please
Installed new fuel injectors. I'm genuinely surprised at the improvement. Smoother idle, quieter, much better throttle response. 100% worth the time and money, IMO.

Very nice! Where from?
I was going to take the wife out for a date last night and the throttle actuator(s) failed in the driveway... They lasted 130k miles, and I am glad the car didn't leave us stranded far from home.

Date night for us last night was facilitated by my e90. No problems with the car but my wife mentioned seeing another blue M car in the neighborhood. She went on to describe the F80 M4. The key tell was "and the exhaust sounded terrible, flat, like it was farting. I told [our daughter] your dad would never live with that…" Then she went on to point out that I have a pretty awesome wife and I have to agree!

How many miles?
Just got a huge package in today. Waiting on the carbon fiber drive shaft and I'll be busy for a few days refreshing 10 year old bushings and subframe. Kinda excited to see how she handles after

About 83,800.

I've been working through some issues lately with rough idle and misfires at low rpm. First replaced a bad coil which fixed the misfire, but the idle and throttle response was still less than ideal. Had a hunch there was something amiss in the fuel delivery and decided to try new injectors, which so far seems to have totally solved the problem.

Also worth noting that Bosch injector prices have doubled in the last year. If you're thinking about replacing, it might be worth buying them before they go to the moon like the ignition coils.

Nice. Stock or an upgrade of some kind?
This was intended to be one of the first things I had done when I got this car 6 years ago… finally had the front bumper reflectors filled in/bumper resprayed.
