kolosy wroteLol. Yeah, confused changing O2s and X-pipe. Lol.Scharbag wrotethey're not, but given that it's also a stiffness brace and likely sees a good amount of work i figured i'd not want to reuse them esp since i'm likely going to track it.The single use stretch bolt on that pan is such BS. I have had mine on and off 5 or more times on the original bolts. I put them back in with my Milwaukee impact and give them 3 ugga duggas. They are not head bolts ffs.
Crappy thing about changing O2s without dropping the pan is that you have to pre-twist the sensor wire the right number of times and those 10mm bolts are a real PITA. I have done it that way but now I drop the plate.
Cheers,
i had enough room to rotate the harness as i threaded the sensor in
Changing O2s is not too bad other than I hate pissing around with those 10mm fasteners. I have little patience. I have changed my exhaust so many times and I am pretty sure I can do it quicker even with removing the brace pan. Or at least I get less frustrated.

There is no way those bolts will break or cause issues if used again. They are strong like Bull!!

Has anyone used the BMW M Performance data logger? https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/6260/BMW-M-PERFORMANCE-DRIVE-ANALYZER
"Elation can be quantified. The Drive Analyzer comprises an OBD (on-board diagnostics) stick and a smartphone app. It facilitates the recording and analysis of numerous kinds of data relating to driving and driving dynamics, such as peak values, engine data, braking distances, GPS data, videos and more. "
It seems like a good way to get car data from the OBDII reader, maybe it would feed into Motec's PC tools?
I've seen conflicting info on if it works for '08 cars or not.

Polished inside of exhaust tips.
Installed these LED H8 for angel eyes. They work really good:
- white
- the same size/shape as halogen H8
- fade in/out
- no warnings

I would say that they look more white in reality than at the pictures, less yellow, more white.

Felt kinda cute so took a photo at favorite watering hole
Took it to work. Hesitated letting it sit out in 100 degrees but was worth it for the walk out and drive home.
