Depending on the tire, you wouldn't be able to replace them either because of stock issues 🤣

Feeling super lucky with tires this last year.

Earlier in the year the local Goodyear shop found me some NT01s in just a couple of days.
Then they found me some PS4s yesterday.

My street tires still had plenty of tread, but they were heat cycled out pretty badly, and then I ran over something sharp that sliced the LR to the cords.

Hit 70K miles and got a new passenger door lock actuator installed at my indy. Enjoyed a spirited drive home through some nice twisties.

Installed lowering springs! Need to take more pictures since it has settled a little lower over the past few days. (hood open is before)

i use the same phone holder
probably the best one i have used so far
as it allows for multiple adjustments to really hold its position

For the price, you can’t go wrong with them. And they really hold solid too!

Right on! I planned on refreshing my suspension real soon with a set of B16’s & Eibach springs, and that drop is perfect for what I’m looking for. Sure, I know I can go with coilovers for basically same price but I really dont need all that adjustability.

Hey looks great! I am refreshing my suspension soon and haven't really wanted to pay for replacement EDC shocks and strucks and have basically settled upon the Bilstein B12 Pro Kit.

What are your driving impressions, especially compared to stock?

It's definitely more "bouncy" not like bad shock bouncy but hard to describe. It's not bad though. I've had coils on 2 cars before and I'll never do that again unless it's for the track.

Replaced the gaskets of the Vanos Gear covers.

When I changed the entire engine, I reused these gaskets. Now they were very dirty, leaking. But not anymore.

And made barbecue.

Finished a few upgrades and maintenance items I had been wanting to do for a while. Surprise track day this weekend made me stop procrastinating.

Replaced transmission and rear differential fluids last week. Today changed the oil with liquid moly, replaced the brake pads with EBC yellow stuff, installed turner motorsport stainless steel brake lines then flushed with motul 600. Car also got fresh power steering fluid and a new set of NGK plugs. She should be ready for some seat time at NJMP this weekend!

And what did you decide about the middle brake lines above the rear subframe? Did you do them? How was it?

While I had the wheels off for a polish I also painted the barrels black

I would be too, that looks pretty great. Can you share the paint and stencils used? I've got brakes coming up and going to rebuild my calipers too. This would be a nice 'while I'm here' project.

Polished by hand with chemical guys wheel wax. It helps to flash of the brake dust when washing.

Working on getting a list of things that need done to the car as winter approaches and it parks down. May split it into a do some before winter, do some before spring.

I did all the wrenching last summer on the car and just trying to decide if I want to outsource anything to an Indy mechanic. Probably the bushings/subframe stuff I will.

Thank you! I've used the rb600 on my m2c and it performed great. However once I run through the rest of this I'll most likely upgrade to the 660 along with a big brake kit.

Those inner rear hoses were a royal pain to replace but I got them done with a tiny 11mm wrench and a TON of patience. Ended up having to replace a small section of hard brake line too but not a big deal.

I used 'VHT' caliper paint that I picked up at Autozone. One can was plenty and no clearcoat, I'm happy with the gloss as is.

The ///M caliper decals I got on-line on amazon I believe. Made for calipers.

I've driven 400 miles and one car wash since and so far, so good.

And of course, and as expected, it's a manual trans. Sounds like a fun trip - and on back roads too. Olde style. Nice.

Finally worked up doing the gasket covers …
Probably took me 4 hours to do but I also removed front bumper to clean and install some so air scoops and figure out this soudn whenever I hit my lip to see if anything got stuck and of course it was a huge rock??! Idk how it's possible but it's there …

These the same parts for each side or different part numbers ? For the oil separators

I got one new one and forgot check before install of which it matched…

Also I started her up and it make a sound like a clunk sound 1 time. semi concerned and let her run a minute. Turned off and ran again for 2-3 minutes no issues. But I am noticing a sound from like passenger side … I don't think from doing gasket covers … I guess I'll run her again tomorrow and record something. Semi burnt smell … idk if it's from my cleaner I used on the covers or could be something more concerning ?
