Corner weights & total weight!!!

Well since my M3 was 3760lbs on a truck scale with 1/2 a tank I figured that was wrong.....so I went to a friends house today to use his longacre corner balancing scales.....with about 3.5 gallons used (just over 3/4 tank) it weighed 3616lbs..... Just about what I thought it would be...... for a loaded DCT coupe with CF roof...... So a CF coupe with 6MT & minimal options would be under 3600 pretty easy...

Yes, yes it will.

Good info! I would be willing to bet that the absolute lightest regular M3 will be a 6MT, CF coupe with 19s and cloth. No other options, meaning the base 'plastic' titanium shadow interior trim in tact.

I need to weigh my 6MT with 19s and hardly any options.

Okay my scanner got really stupid....so heres the weights without me...with just over 3/4 tank...

LF 883 RF 957
LR 892 RR 884

Total: 3616lbs
Front: 50.9%
Rear: 49.1%

With me

LF 955 RF 979
LR 970 RR 913

Total 3817lbs (I'm 201lbs)
Front: 50.7%
Rear: 49.3%

I don't understand much about corner weighing...but my friend who did the test was VERY impressed with these numbers for a stock car....

was that truck scale certified?

There's an actual weights thread somewhere on here, you may want to add your info to it.

Yes it was.....hard to believe....I'm guessing they must have weighed the car with me in it....but I don't think they did.....since it had about 1/2 a tank at 3760.......

Good info, please post here. Your car calculates out at 3643 with a full tank. My similar car with no driver and a full tank came out quite a bit heavier at 3673.
