Completed my first event at Sebring, have much to learn but man is this track fun.

Forgive the terrible quality.
Did you rent the track for yourself?

Haha on the last session it felt like it! Only 4 other cars out there.

I'm not sure what a good time is there on a fairly stock car, but after reviewing vs some YouTube videos I think there's an easy 5-10 seconds I can drop. Over slowed big time all over the track.
I'm not sure if it's "good" but on my second overall track day I did 2:35 at Sebring with a stock MT car in 300tw tires.

3rd day with better tires and pads was 2:31.

This was summer 2020 so I'm sure being a more capable driver with a more capable car (no aero/diff yet) and not in 105 heat of July/August, could see mid 20's.

Seems like there's a mental block keeping you from going deep into the braking zones, which is just the beginning of why you're leaving so much time on the table.

I agree 100%, I think the "I have to drive it home" factor was engrained in my head too deep.

I'm hoping to get out there again next month to keep momentum going and move further out of my comfort zone.

Tomorrow we (the crew and I) are flying out to Austin. I have a test day with Thomas Merril coaching on Thursday. Practice Friday and Saturday. Qualifying Saturday. Race is Sunday morning at 9:30. Livestream on YouTube @transamracing. Any locals are welcome to come out and hang with us in the pits. Plus I should have some Pirelli 305/645/18 and 325/660/18 scubs available.
Me and my brother walked up and down the paddock looking for you but didn't see you. We did see your car on track though, Saturday evening. Sounded great!

We were up in the upper paddock with all the Trans Am teams. Across from 3 dimensional. Sorry we missed you.

Not a bad price on this one: https://www.racingjunk.com/road-club-racing/184386155/e92-race-ready-pro-built.html?category_id=4&np_offset=31#1

It pretty much has everything I'd throw at my street car eventually too.
Hate that so many listings on RJ have like 8 pictures and 4 modifications listed for a full race build haha. Guess that site leans toward the Boomer generation and they expect people to call. :confused2:

Yeah, I wouldn't call it race ready, it doesn't even list the class it's spec'd for.

HPDE+ ready would be how I'd put it.

Looks about as race ready to me as you'll find :bellyroll
SCCA T1 class decal on the side in the first picture as well.

That seems like a good deal to me, just based on the pictures and how much is done to it. Given how these cars have inflated in price, picking up a chassis to start with nowadays for a race build doesn't cost much less than this lol (slightly exaggerating, but still).

comes with a laptop, and if i learned anything against hondas with laptops... this thing flies.

I also don't know what I'm talking about most of the time.

I saw it posted elsewhere and he said SCCA T1 or NASA ST4. No way in hell it fits ST4, unless he really detunes it or adds about 400 lbs of ballast lol

Warning!!!

Danger To Manifold
Laptop will give a warning before you blow the intake welds.
When you guys set sway bar endlink length, how high should the sway bar arm be above the control arm? Do you just go for horizontal to the ground?
I've been too lazy to do a build thread. But here's my current E92(june when I bought it to now).

Came with a diffsonline 3.45, monoballs, and solid subframe bushings. Since added nitron r1, Akra Evo, Alpine tune, pinnacle half cage, gt4 aero, AP 9668, Mtrack steering wheel, and removed all of the rear interior.

Just picked up some ARC8 10.5s and NT01s for my other set of wheels(main set is titans w/v730 which I have loved).

6 days so far with this car. Can't wait to really get dialed in, and looking forward to some time attack in 2023.
