Drove 3 hours for forged rep E88’s and
falken tires for summer tracking. Look great in person. Mounting tires then throwing them on when its not raining

Not much to actually see but the following future proofing all done:

NRW valve covers, c/w grommet kit, silicon throttle body to plenum fittings and billet spark plug tubes.

UK Rebuilt throttle actuators

MPorium bolt on Vanos covers (the only way to go in my opinion)

Other items like service, new tyres, new battery radiator hoses etc.

Rod bearings have been done previously, so hopefully all future proofed now to enjoy for many years to come.

For anyone in Brisbane Australia, I can highly recommend ‘Prestige & Performance’ who did all this work and all previous work.

Finally, finally... had the chance get my Adro front lip installed at my fav SSR Autobody shop in SoCal.

• Bumper - Repaired previous lip holes; repainted; replaced full PPF
• Ardo Lip - Full PPF, SlipLo v2, super fitment & secure attachment

Fresh from the detailer's. Will be posting proper pictures soon. Had the front quarter ppf removed from 2009 followed by a 3 stage paint correction, full track pack ppf and ceramic coating

Was 60F here in Colorado. Decided to clean interior. Spent a couple of hours. More to go but I’m happy with the result so far.

Carpro Inside on leather with agitator boars head brush, 2 passes with damp microfiber to wipe off excess after a couple of minutes and the dry microfiber.

I used tri-clean on the dash and plastics as well using dry and damp microfibers.

As the car has 82k on the clock, I could tell it wasn’t thoroughly detailed in a while. Cleaned yes, but detailed no. With the TX heat, swamp ass was inevitable with the previous owner with the cloth.

Tri-clean neutralizes the odors and car smells great! Used damp microfiber along with steam cleaner to lift off dirt and gently wipe in forward direction. Some areas required blotting.

The speed cloth is in great condition!

Next phase is leatheriqe on the nappa leather to soften it up more.

Took a long drive and found out my center console gets uncomfortably hot to the touch. Even with jeans on I couldn't rest my leg against the console. It is much hotter on the driver's side but even the pass side is still unusually warm.

I think it is related to the rear climate controls when they are turned all the way to hot as the rear AC vents route through the transmission tunnel.

It only happens when the car is on for 30 or more minutes so I don't take a ton of long drives but I should know either way soon what is causing it.

Yeah but it routes under the carpeting. I’d be surprised that it gets hot enough from the heater to be noticeable through that. Could you be missing a heat shield instead?

Love the strippers for sure, the factory manual seats are really the rarity you don't see often...this thing is the fully monty though, nice pickup. I think even Alpine White and Jerez Black were not optional paints so no options at all, very rare.

Interesting. I love the car. I would have thought this spec is a common “stripper”…?

Only thing I would change interior wise is titan shadow trim for the carbon leather. But have other maintenance items to tackle and pass stupid emmissions here in CO.
