295/35/19 vs 295/30/19

Hey all, I've seen a lot of people running 295/30/19s. Is there a reason that I shouldn't run 295/35/19?

I'm currently running 245/35/19 and 295/35/19 on stock suspension on an E93 M3 with 220m. I haven't rolled/shaved fenders or installed spacers.

I want an aggressive look without coilovers/springs (You don't need to say it, I already know.) I'd also take some input on 18 rims vs the 19s.

It’s too tall. There are so many variables in selecting the right tire size. You need to provide way more detail.

That's a wild choice for rear on stock 220M's. At 285 you should have already been at 30.

You choose size based on rolling diameter being as close to OEM. Aside from traction and stability system malfunctions, you run the risk of rubbing but you seem to be fine there.

The 295/35/19 has a 689mm overall diameter while stock 265/35/19 is 668mm. That's a 3% increase and almost an inch taller. 295/30 would take you the other way, but you'd only be 8mm shorter than stock. That would be the right size IMO.

19s vs 18s will generally have a larger overall diameter, so will have less fender gap. Not sure if that's what you're alluding too as "aggressive".

If you're sticking with 245 then yes. Don't worry front is 35 and rear is 30. That's just the ratio, and doesn't actually mean 30 is less tall than 35. At larger widths you have to compensate the ratio to maintain the same tire height as original i.e. stock by reducing it.
