What color is that liquid wrap? And do you maintain it like paint, or is there anything special to do? Seems very interesting; this is the first I'm hearing of it. And sounds like you'd do it again rather than full paint correction/PPF? Thanks.
It’s been a minute and was out of town all weekend so once I returned with the day off thought I give “Ruby” a nice bath and mini detail….

Also Happy Veterans Day to everyone who served or is currently serving, appreciate your services greatly!!

That's a lovely colour! Melbourne Red or Imola Red?
I replaced my 265/285 MPS4 with some Falken Azenis 660+ in 265/275 on my 18in. EC-7 for a light track day at Sebring, bested my previous PR by nearly 10 seconds. I feel a 2:33 is fairly respectable with my simple set up. I still left a good bit on the table, lifting a tad early and not braking nearly as late as I could, and with MDM on.
And to top it off, I got to meet Brian "bgexpress" and check out his super cool e90. There were also a few other bimmer folks I got to hang with, over all a good day, even though it was a bit chilly for FL.

Melbourne Red and thank you.

Nearly bought one in that colour, but the seller was asking too much money for it and we couldn't agree a price.
Took the car for an end-of-season detail and took some night photos right after.

I would be less worried about the drain plug and more worried about the point of water ingress.
What with all the hype, got the Eventuri kit installed today. Much prefer matte as it blends in OEM style.

Didn't get to romp on it too much given I-5 traffic, but it definitely needed it. Complements the Eisenmann Race exhaust nicely. I think I enjoy the 4-3, 3-2 DCT downshift brap at slower speeds the most since it's accessible often.

Total setup is not nearly as loud as I expected having watched umpteen YouTube videos, but I'm guessing from the outside it makes itself known.

Up next is what I'm most looking forward to: 1) Fikse Profil 10s arriving in 18x9.5, 19x10.5; 2) lowering on Ohlins R&T.

Then the E92 will be perfect as I originally envisioned cuz rolling on skinny arse OEM sized tires and OEM SUV height is a total Debbie downer.

Nothing matte about OEM M Performance carbon fiber parts!

Not under hood homey!
As mentioned last weekend, due to my poor planning, it is the second weekend on the stands. Front rotors and pads last weekend and oil change and cabin air filters this Saturday. Also replaced a few trim pieces around the HVAC and radio controls.

I understand, and you're not wrong, but that will take some time, and I'm pretty sure that even with the water ingress I had last month, that problem wouldn't have happened if the drain plug was functional. Actually, imagine how many e9x are running with water ingress right now and owners won't ever get to know because it will drain out normally.

Stunning, I can imagine the sound!

Nice set-up and material finish selection. When paired with quality AM exhaust system, a fantastic, intoxicating S65 symphony of elevated induction + exhaust tones especially at higher rev/WOT...enjoy

Really like Eventuri's complementary CF bits.
Thinkin' may add to my CF intake system set-up as well...Another 'Black Friday' excuse to spend money, right?
