Finalized my Ohlins R&T install. Big DIY having never installed suspension before. I’m running swift springs with mine. Still finalizing my endlink situation, have some SPL’s to put in.

Alcantara sun visors are what these cars should have came with from the factory. The stock plastic ones with the giant nanny sticker look horrible to me.

They did everywhere else, not Alcantara but no big stupid sticker at least. The euro visors are one of the favorite mods I've done. Totally changes the feel of the interior. That sticker should look horrible to anyone with eyes.

Fuel tank vent valve again. Second one I have done as a second owner 25k-289k. I was experiencing a rough idle, histation and stalling but not after fueling up. I would experience these three at any time and NOT after fueling up and irrelevant to tank fill level. I had replaced valve covers, plugs and cleaned my idle control valve but no luck. After replacing my vent valve all three issues gone. I did hook up a vacuum tester to my old valve and it does not hold vacuum and leaks from either side. Just sharing my finds but I think this little vent valve causes more issue than previously assumed or at least in my case. Running smooth and strong again!

Since it was 82 degrees and sunny out today in NJ, I treated the vert to an early bath. I didn't drive her much during the winter but it was time to get the residual salt dust/grime off.

Still shines like she's brand new.

6MT + single hump. Love it. I'm a big time DCT guy for the coupe/sedan, but i think the cab is better suited with the stick.

Had the top down today post cleaning and agreed.... the sounds the S65 makes while rowing through the gears while top down is amazing. BTW - car is 100% OEM stock.

It’s the trifecta! Very rare and beautiful car. Melbourne Red, manual and single hump.

I never really noticed before but BMW did a very good job making the E93 look almost exactly like the E92 when the top is up. I have a 2012 E92 in Melbourne red. Makes me wonder whether I should have gotten an E93.

Nice! I love Durham and the surrounding area. Really good roads in the area and state.

Man....I like to think that if anything happens to my e90, and I really hope it doesn't, but if it did and I got a good insurance payout, I might go for an e93 with a manual as a replacement.

Craziest part is they are significantly cheaper than coupes and sedans, and usually in nicer condition.

Early Observations - ‘Nice to Haves’

• CAN Data - 100’s of customizable configs to edit ‘page’ displays. Also capable (optional) to connect external sensors. Data rich displays compared to OBD II plug-in type gauges
• Fitment - “OE like” appearance
• Display - Full color; all pages, widgets all editable
• Vent - Retains airflow; ~50-60%
• Fault codes - Provides quick review access and code clearing capable (if appropriate)
• Interface - Config display touch screen directly or via USB Mode; works equally well with Mac or PC

So-far so-good...only loaded CANChecked default e9x 'pages' [prelim examples below].

Plan to carve out some time soon to sort/ set-up unique config preferences [i.e. pages, colors, widget content, etc to be displayed on-screen].

BTW ignore my screen physical appearance...need to redo screen protector

Had my ballast replaced in my passenger headlight after I replaced the headlight bulb for it still to not work, ballast was the trick to get it back working again (replaced top cover as well):

I wouldn't say significantly cheaper, but yes, they are easier on the wallet. In the end, you get what you pay for. Mine had 30k original miles when I bought it in November of 2025. I was willing to pay for the right car.
