If you’re going to thin the wiring, pull it all out now and do the thinning and rerouting before the cage goes in. Assuming you already know what you’re keeping.

Feel like this is about as good as it gets to keep the daily aspect of the car. With a half a tank car will weigh around 3225 is my guess, that's a good spot considering I will have a/c, front carpet, and sound deadening still. Once I go to a full W2W setup (which won't be for several years as the car is too nice) more weight reduction would be had.

Finally done with the exterior of the car for the winter. New GT4 front lip, Quick Release tabs for the front bumper, and new (to me) Wing. Looks like its Ridgeline for the uprights and center piece with custom end plates. Very happy with how they turned out.
Car looks funny without the rear diffuser (gotta get the engine and exhaust back in first).
Last bit of work before engine and cage gets here to be done this weekend. Need to reinforce the trunk and put a new seat mount on the passanger side.

New Accusump Kit is here. Went with the 3qt cylinder with eletronic valve system. Unfortunately, because I am dumb, I ordered the wrong line. I went and called Pegasus immediately and they got me squared away. Will be installing the cylinder and plumbing hopefully this weekend but will not be hooking up the system when I first get the car running. Canton (who makes the Accusump) recommends against using it during break in periods with new engines. Luckily I read the directions.

The accusump is nice and I ran one for years on my old DSM autocross car. It triggered multiple times on course in a single lap.
I'd suggest going away from the electronic trigger. While it is certainly convenient to toggle a switch, the manual valve is much quicker to respond to sudden oil pressure loss. I used the electronic toggle with my setup and it most certainly helped to extend bearing life, but it wasn't a be all/end all solution and I still ended up spinning bearings eventually.

Another day, another project. Short block isn't here yet so I continue on the other smaller things to work on.

I plan on having passangers in the car during track weekends so being in the footwell was not an option I considered. Decided the rear passanger frame rail in the trunk was my go to location. I ordered some raw aluminum on Amazon (very cheap btw) and punched out the holes for the Accusump Cylinder and the holes to mount to the rail. Put six riv certs in the rail and cut the sound deadening (to lower fire risk). Happy with this, may not be pretty but it is 100% funcitonal and I am no means a fabricator, lol.
Next will be plumbing and the wiring of the electric valve, hoping to get to that this upcoming week.

Rogue Engineering is making good progress on the short block. Pistion rings were gapped and filed down to spec, then the rods and pistons were slapped into the sleeved bores. New ARP bolts to compliment the ACL bearings. Just waiting on some remaining bedplate bolts and we should be ready to torque everything down to spec. Short block should be done next week and sent out to me here in Cincinnati to throw on accessories and heads.
I am getting super nervious/excited to get to this point, can't thank Ben and Josh at Rogue enough for all their help and expertise. Very cool I will have the first built S65 from Rogue in my car.

Big updates and news hitting the press today. Ben at Rogue called me to let me know the short block is complete and is being packed up to get here next week. From there one of my best friends who is a BMW tech and I will slap on the heads and accessories and throw back into the car. From there I have to drive it for 600 miles breaking in the engine (without the accusump hooked up). After that Randy at EPIC will remotely tune it on a dyno.
Also lucky to have a friend who is a genius at 3D printing. He is printing me a radio bezel delete, a pedal for my Rogue Clutch Pedal, and some body gromets.
Fingers crossed this goes smoothly, trying to get it ready for a shake down at Mid Ohio Memorial Day.

Great news! Engine, half cage, and extra wheels are here thanks to Ben at Rogue. Found after getting everything unboxed that we had to order some small odds and ends (that always drives me nuts) but the engine is on the stand and the half cage is already with the powder coater. Real work starts this week and next weekend hoping to get it ready for a May 15th dyno day.
Notice the SRD gears, these are gaining more traction now that Partee and Rogue both are being vocal about advocating.
