Latinskllz wroteAgreed, I'm not a fan of the look, OEM or aftermarket, my car came with them and I removed them. Looks like it got its front teeth knocked out. But the OEM lip sits low and thats an expensive piece to risk smashing it to bits. Not totally sold on the m splitters on alpine white car.
Maybe there’s a a perfect center piece to completent the side splitters.

Latinskllz wroteMaybe a CRT style lip to fill in the gap, personally I think it's the best option:I want Oem GTS but that’s gonna tough.
Guess I’ll settle for Oem splitters or replica gts.

I thought this was interesting, single mass flywheel in a DCT car.
smokinjoe64 wroteUpdate: SettingsNew Install - CANChecked gauge/display
Offers a plethora of CAN info/data, logging, customization of ‘pages’ and widgets to display.
Early Observations - ‘Nice to Haves’So-far so-good...only loaded CANChecked default e9x 'pages' [prelim examples below].
- CAN Data - 100’s of customizable configs to edit ‘page’ displays. Also capable (optional) to connect external sensors. Data rich displays compared to OBD II plug-in type gauges
- Fitment - “OE like” appearance
- Display - Full color; all pages, widgets all editable
- Vent - Retains airflow; ~50-60%
- Fault codes - Provides quick review access and code clearing capable (if appropriate)
- Interface - Config display touch screen directly or via USB Mode; works equally well with Mac or PC
Plan to carve out some time soon to sort/ set-up unique config preferences [i.e. pages, colors, widget content, etc to be displayed on-screen].
BTW ignore my screen physical appearance...need to redo screen protector
Finally had the chance to dial-in CANChecked gauge settings.
Once started late evening, couldn’t stop… till wheee hrs of morning; ~0300!

Individualized, customized display 'Pages'.
More tweaking later…pleased so-far [sry for crappy vid quality

mjn77 wroteAs for speed readings, data is directly obtained from CAN...my experience, no calibration actions necessary. Compared display to GPS source for speed readings, looks to be spot-on.Still need to do the speed and gear ratios on mine.
Easiest means to calibrate gear ratios is 'live' on the display vs DSS...actually input(s) method results are accurate, at least for 6MT.

After almost 6 months, I finally got my M3 smogged in California!! Going to dmv in the morning to do inspection and it will finally have a plate lol. Bought the car in October from Texas with no cats and a tune
WizardTendencies wroteMine had cats but didn’t pass. I feel you as CO has similar restrictions as CA! Thanfullly GESI green 400 cell cats did the trick! Hit a big milestone over the weekend - 180k miles! Also completed some suspension maintenance including sway bar end links and lower front control arms. Got an alignment at Thunder Bunny and it’s running as strong as ever.
Siajoon wroteNice! Have mine installed for 3.5 years; the ESS G1 really modernizes the speed of this platform. I dynoed at 535 WHP and corner balanced at 3500 lbs, which roughly works out to the power/weight of a Hellcat Redeye but with a surprising amount of traction. It absolutely deletes road and maintains most of the S65 drama with way more intensity. The downside is that I think the car feels way more serious. NA the car almost feels like a big Miata; very playful and super easy to manage with modern tires. It's still playful with the SC, but I feel like you have to be on your game to keep it pointed in the right direction.Supercharged it after 9 years. Here’s to another 9 boosted baby!
Shrike360 wroteI agree with all the points you made, specifically the one where you said the car feels way more serious. I think my brain and my right foot will soon be able to adapt to the added power and "seriousness" lol but as of now, this car scares the shit out of me, especially taking it to redline.. my exhaust also sounds really loud and angry.. even more so after the supercharger, I am not sure if that is a thing or not when going FI.Nice!
