I can't believe this isn't gone. It was so hard for me to find one of these. And that Stage 2 pulley is worth 3k alone! WAY better option than the centrifugal blowers out there. Problem with these cars being so cheap used it's attracting the wrong crowd. Sorry, having a boomer moment. BPM will sort you out!

Some of that younger crowd can barely afford rent, groceries, insurance, gas, tires, electricity, etc. etc. I was lucky to sell mine a few years ago on this very forum after 55K miles of glorious fun and use. Also, some of the younger crowd you mentioned probably don't know what they're looking at regarding a positive displacement super charger.

for someone who wanted to retain the NA characteristics of the car while adding boost I am very happy with my decision to go centrifugal, so no it is not a "WAY" better option. different strokes for different folks, ya boomer!

Positive displacement superchargers are generally preferred over centrifugal superchargers for street drivability because they deliver immediate power across the entire RPM range. Centrifugal superchargers, by contrast, build boost exponentially and only reach peak power near the engine's redline.

Why Positive Displacement Superchargers Excel

Instant Boost: They compress a fixed volume of air per revolution to deliver immediate torque from idle.

Flat Torque Curve: They maintain consistent, predictable power throughout the entire powerband.

Low-End Power: They excel at heavy lifting, launching, and passing without needing to downshift.

Linear Response: The throttle response feels like a much larger, naturally aspirated engine.

Where Centrifugal Superchargers Struggle

Laggy Delivery: They rely on internal vanes that require high engine RPMs to build noticeable boost.

Soft Bottom-End: They offer very little power gains at low-to-mid RPMs.

hmmm sounds like it retains the NA, high revving character of the s65 as I stated lol.

uh sure? lol. I don't know what you or the boomer do not get. simply put, a centrifugal blower keeps the s65 linear, high revving power band but it just amplifies or "beefs" up the power. My comment to his original post was just that a positive displacement blower is not "WAY" better, its a preferance.
