RB Advice needed: looking at a new (used) car

I had MRF put in RB’s in my previous car and all was well over an 8 yr period. That car is gone and looking at a replacement. A car I looked at today had bearings replaced (Be/ARP bolts) by SSR in May, 2023 at around the 66k mile mark.

Car is sitting at 74k miles today. Drove fine on my test drive.

SSR has mixed reviews on the forum and allegedly MRF has had to fix or confirm some mistakes made by SSR in the RB replacement process. Maybe other shops have dealt with the same.

What has been the recent feelings towards SSR and their bearing replacements, preferably at or maybe before these RB’s were replaced in 05/2023?

Any thoughts? I don’t want to buy a car that had a SH!tty RB replacement but also don’t want to spend money on something that’s already been done, if done correctly.

Unfortunately your question is all about personal peace of mind. If it were me, I'd just drive the car.

SSR, RSR avoid.

MRF is what ever, although he also has a few people he's ticked off in this forum as well with his work.

EAS, S5X perf, Position Advance, Raskin Built have all been good shop for me over the years.

the previous owner of my car went to SSR, and when i had a PPI i had to fix some mistakes they made. which lowered the cost of the car at least.
