I want to retain OEM door handles but would love a pull to help shut the door when I am in my containment seat. If you look at what track day does, look at the pull in the center of the door.

Never mind. I see the door cards now on OCT site. They have the slots precut for pull straps, no? You just need the strap and bolt?
Btw I have OCT hood. Absolutely the lightest hood available!

DRLane wroteThey do have the cut out, I just worry about the card flexing, but I could put an aluminum strap on the back to balance out the load I guess, shouldn't be an issue.Never mind. DRLane wroteSorry to threadjack, but who made these? I LOVE that they have an integrated arm rest. Not sure what you cards look like but I’d done this on the version I had. Mounted to the door itself.

I think I bought a set and never used them, can send them to you.
kolosy wroteLet me see if I can make the straps from my current door cards work, if not I will hit you up! Thanks Brev!

former 240 s14 wroteYeah definitely mount to the door itself vs door card. There is so much available criss crossing steel back there, but I found moving them forward preferred to rearward if you want to be able to close the door from containment seat. They do have the cut out, I just worry about the card flexing, but I could put an aluminum strap on the back to balance out the load I guess, shouldn't be an issue.

I think I ordered mine from Condor Speed Shop (looking back at emails).
BigTee wroteI think it was fiberlabs another Lithuanian company.Sorry to threadjack, but who made these? I LOVE that they have an integrated arm rest.
Note the arm rest looks cool but impacts fitting wheels/tires relative to the flat panels.
former 240 s14 wroteAh a pull strap, I'm not sure on that one mate... I like how hardmotorsport has theirs located on their door panel, just sort of in the middle.Ah, I think I mislabeled the door pull strap. Door cards are 90% in and functional. Need to finish the fine tuning as the doors don't shut as easily as they did before the cards were in.
Very happy with how they turned out.
Also, got an EPM undertray and new front liners installed, so that's now out of the way.
Last small part is figuring out these sticky brakes. Driving they randomly engage and you can feel a slight pull on the car. I've bled the living daylights out of them 4 times (including the abs procedure) so I am going to swap pads before ordering a rebuild kit.
Next is Dyno Day this Thursday, any guesses from anyone what she will put down? Dyno Dynamics Roller Dyno.

Hey, what's your rim + tire set? Width?
Godi350 wrote18x10 +25 with 275/35/18 squared. Will be trying used tack off slicks here later in the season.Hey, what's your rim + tire set? Width?

Do you think it's possible / worth it going wider? (11" with 295)?
Godi350 wroteNot sure if it's "worth" it as I would need to remove the helper springs off my MCS kit and not sure if the 10 inch wide wheel utilizies the extra 20MM. Would need to test a set.Do you think it's possible / worth it going wider? (11" with 295)?

i was able to run 295/30 HTAPs on an 18x11 ET30 rim with MCS 3-ways. a tiny bit of poke in the front but nothing too ridiculous. 15mm spacer.
kolosy wroteHopefully this isn’t too much of a threadjack but how did you like the HTAPs? pirategenes wroteI think the Bridgestones are still my top choice of those two. The HTAPs were fast (comparably so) and notably lighter, like 4-5 lbs per corner but they wore faster. kolosy wroteThanks for the feedback. The wear rate for the HTAPs is what I was concerned about. Were you using the Bridgestone RSs or RZs? I only get 4 days out of RSs and they are corded on multiple tires.I think the Bridgestones are still my top choice of those two. pirategenes wroteBoth. Maybe I’m stretching the 6 day mark. I’m also now on an F8x and getting more wear on the rears than the fronts so it’s not exactly apples to apples anymore. Thanks for the feedback. Well yesterday was a bust (kind of.) Lack of communication from the shop with the dyno between the scheduler and the technician led to a 40 minute delay to get the car on the dyno, poor Randy was sitting around the whole time. Then found out that they didn't download the required software for Randy to remote in even though they had the info for a month, frustrating. Even more frustrating was the fact they couldn't after trying because their laptop with the dyno is windows 7 and is too old, I really couldn't make this up if I tried.
So no tuning done yesterday but we did rip it for one pull on the base map. This is a Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno but according to the technician they've adjusted it to read closer to a mustang or dynojet. 425rwhp and about 330ft lbs. More importantly I have over 300ft lbs from 3k up to about 6,500 if I remember right.
My dumb a$$ left the dyno sheet in the car, will get this weekend and post, but until then here is a Youtube Short from the pull:
