The Odyssey hits theaters today.

Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey made cinematic history as the first feature film ever to be shot entirely on 15-perf 70mm IMAX film cameras.
This one is definitely on my list to actually go to the theater and watch.

Just watched OBSESSION last night. I can clearly see what the hype train ia all about and why it has grossed over $250M from a paltry $750k budget.
It is absolutely INCREDIBLE! And the lead actress is gorgeous without a drop of make up.
My near 15 year said he was going to the mall with mates but secretly took a girl to see this, so now i'm curious.

This should be entertaining.
Kenneth Branagh is an interesting fellow. He is in a lot of stuff as an actor in some obscure stuff from being in Harry Potter to being the voice you hear of Asgardians saying they are attacked by Thanos at the beginning of Infinity War. He also directed the original Thor movie which was near the start of the MCU also directed the live action Cinderella.

If you need to go on a Wikipedia tear, I recommend checking his out.

I almost hate to say it, but I'm sort of rooting for Doom on this one! :happyanim:

I know what you mean, I have lost interest in this franchise.
Well that went from 0 to 1,000 rather quickly... 🫣

Same. I loved some of the first movies like the first Iron Man and Spider man and some of the others that originally came out, but I just don't care anymore. I'm sure I've missed most of the Marvel movies that have come out since because it's just waaaaaaaaay too many of them. Are any of these "Avengers" other than Thor from the last movie? Only people I recognize is Thor and Captain Picard.... but isn't he from Xmen? Are they from the same Universe? See who can keep any of this shit straight anymore.

While we are at it I'm sick of Avatar also! The guy who has made some great films like Terminator, Aliens, Abyss, Titanic etc has now spent almost 20 years doing nothing but these freaking blue people. First one was cool and almost like a tech demo of what could be done with visual effects, but didn't need another two.

That being said I'll probably watch that new Avengers when it's on streaming. Haven't watched the new Avatar... it's like 43 hours long.

Looks promising, Rick. Besdes, I like Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren. Will give it a try. 👍

It's probably the best from Bob Hoskins and a quick appearance from 007 actor Pierce Brosnan is included.

^ Here's another one Esteban, with our friend Bob Hoskins as a Sergeant with that roarty voice.
The stiff upper lip British army lining themselves up for another slaughter learning nothing from Rourke's Ridge ordered into a trap by deranged LG Lord Chelmsford.
Have not seen that one, Rick.

Another with Bob Hoskins in a supporting role as part time private eye, part time vet and part time pet shop owner. Stars Tom Berenger. Seen this one a few times and think it's very good.

Here's a fun movie with Bob Hoskins: Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Set in 1947 Hollywood where humans and cartoons coexist, Who Framed Roger Rabbit follows a depressed private detective named Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) who must clear cartoon star Roger Rabbit of a framing for the murder of Toontown's owner, Marvin Acme.

Worth seeing if you haven't seen it.
