Finalizing my order for a new 2010 m3, can't wait.

As I do not plan to drive on the track, at least not now, do you recommend or not the electronic damping and m drive options? From what I have learned these are essential for the track, but not that useful for daily commuting to work and weekend casual fun drives. Thoughts?

Also any thoughts on jerez black versus silverstone
I would do the opposite. I really don't think Silverstone is a good silver, way too blue for my tastes. Definitely try and see one in person before you order.

Jerez Black will most probably get the nod over Silverstone, IMO.

Also, most people will advise you to go ahead and get EDC, and also the Tech pkg which includes MDM. The reason would be: "It's better to have, than to not have."

Me personally, I didn't opt for most of all the options since I prefered to keep my M3 simple, yet sporty. I just prefer it that way, that's all.
I just ordered a Jet Black with Fox Red (even not having the opportunity to check in person the interior on Fox Red)...I saw a coral red on another model and did not like it since looks very "open color", too light.

I'm really assuming that Fox Red is darker and more sporty, correct?

Also "Jet Black" is the only REAL REAL black in the M3 options, right?

Ps. As curiosity, do BMW accepts a custom paint order?
get mdm over edc for sure, i love clicking the m button on my daily commute.

Yes, Jet is the only non-metallic black in the line up. Fox red will look great with it, great choice.

As for custom, you can try and order under the BMW Individual program, although make sure your dealer knows what they are doing (and have been successful with it in the past.) You can choose other colors that BMW produces but they can turn down your choice at their discretion. IT successful, the cost is $5k.
