...with my Interlagos Blue E90 M3 sedan, I have decided to get rid of her in favor of an E92 coupe. :( I purchased the sedan with the intention of keeping her until she stopped operating efficiently, but I have been missing owning a coupe (...and it's eating at me). Now that I've managed to navigate that crossroad, I'm at a standstill: Mineral White or Alpine White? I don't want another IB car (..the sedan was my second IB M3), and I can't do black, red or grey. White seems to be INSANELY popular - almost to the point of nausea - but it's the only other color that I can picture myself driving. I already have an Arkym CF front lip, and the 2006-ish BBS DBK LM's (..the type where the entire wheel is DBK, even the lip), so I need to choose a color that will complement those aftermarket items. Any suggestions?

P.S. Do any of you have the new tone/tone leather options (..i.e...fox red/black/black or palladium silver/black/black)? If so, can you post a picture so that I can get an idea about how they look in person?
I'd go Mineral White just because it's slightly different, newer and rarer.

You're going to have to change your username also :D
Get the Mineral White ... Coupe_Cloupe.

Cheers.
I have the new MW, loving it every moment.
AW.

MW is too Lexus
you cant go wrong with either.

I love AW but MW does look better IMO.
I had originally selected MW for my car, but after seeing a few MW BMW's in person I quickly called the dealership and went with AW. The paint on the bumpers did not match the paint on the body... I looked at 5 different cars, and everyone had mismatched bumpers. :mad0259:

After seeing a MW e92 M3 the day my AW was delivered at Welt... I couldn't have been happier with my choice.
Thanks for the feedback guys.

After looking at the two-tone pictures, I think that I'll just stick with the regular Fox Red interior. I don't like how two-tone looks on the back seats. Now it's time to compare MW to AW. My wheels look like this:

...so I'm guessing that AW would be the better choice?
Personally I think AW is more classic. It's a tried and true BMW color that lasts for years (with the exception of those poor cars from the mid-80s).

Mineral white looks to me more like a Lexus or Acura color. It's nice under the showroom lights, but almost looks dirty to me otherwise.

MW being rarer will probably be deemed more valuable by collectors 40 years from now.
I have AW, and I love it with red interior! Although I have seen MW and they look hot as well.
I've had 2 AW BMW's and love the color. Don't do 2-tone.

Can you post pictures of your AW with FR leather? I'd love to see it.

Thanks Prince. The car looks great. If you could post more interior pics, that would be great.
get whichever you prefer without reference to their prevalence. sure, there are more AW M3's than any other color, but I don't see other M3's on the road too often (even in downtown Chicago), and I certainly don't see enough AW M3's to make me regret my choice. people who complain about the preponderance of white M3's spend too much time on the forum, and I would certainly never let their opinion of how many AW M3's there are affect my decision. if you see a ton of AW M3's in your area and want to be more unique, that's a different story altogether.

I got white because I think it shows the lines of the car very well and the contrast with the CF roof is awesome. it's also easy to keep clean, match the paint (if you ever need body work) and does a good job of hiding swirls.

I would have done MW if I had the choice, but that's just my 2 cents.
I don't like the way MW shows up in sunlight. It looks almost silver. In the showroom it looks a lot better.
It's true most of the m3's are AW, but don't be fooled. Reading around in the forum you would think that you would see an AW m3 around every corner in every town or city. In real life you don't see that many AW M3's on the road (atleast where I live). So if you want to get a car that's rare on the forum, dont get white. Otherwise, I love my AW and think it looks best! just make sure you get Extended fox red!

I considered Extended FR, but it's TOO MUCH red for me. I don't like any of the Extended interiors. I do love the interior with the red stitching though. HOT!
