Anything can be done to the interior, as long as you have funds!!! You can even put purple or kiwi colors in there if you really want, just be prepared to drop a nice chunk of change.

Good to know, it cost the M6 guy 10K for the seat. He went all out.

there is no set standard, as each individual change (say, laser etched M on dash, or special stitching, etc, etc) has a price and particular lead time.

having gone thru this, I can tell you the golden rule: if you have to ask how much, then it may not be for you (ie, be prepared for some sticker shock)

The M6 interior is so sexy

It would be interesting to compile how much people paid for special options. Would be helpful for future customers who want information on individual options.

I'll agree this M6 interior is not to my taste either, a little too much going on

BUT, great news, it's totally doable and won't add any more lead time for my ED at the end of March!



I'll work with my dealer and Maria for pricing and to make it happen but this is awesome news.

I was told it cannot be done, makes sense given no version of 3 series has stitched leather.

Red stitching with extended leather was quoted to me at $3725 MSRP. Won't post invoice but you can PM me.

I wouldn't do black stitch on platinum, to me it would be "too much" going on with the light color everywhere. But that's just me.

true on the stitching. Black piping would be another story, I am not sure if these seats are designed to have piping.

Surprise, surprise, after I accepted the price that was first quoted to me and I gave the go ahead, I got a message this morning that there had been a big mistake. Or so I hear. Now, I am getting 3 different stories from 3 different places with 3 different prices, my SA has no clue who is right but last he heard, the new official story is "from the distribution center in San Jose" as follow:

$7400 MSRP for the black stitching on extended black leather, i.e. $6300 Individual + $1100 extended leather.

Price has just doubled in 24 hours. Based on others from this forum I've talked to this doesn't make any sense to me. I understand part of the price is the non standard nature of the request but this is getting out there...

I contacted Maria to try to straighten this out, but so far no luck... we will see what happens.

the leather on E93 is specially treated for UV protection -- this might be the reason for the extra cost? I personally wouldn't bother with Individual leather interior -- waste of money for what you get and that you don't get back on resale.... to each his own. Spend that money on other things like....

the Arkym CF front lip -- makes a big difference

I have worked with her before. Official word is that with BMW Individual, they will do literally ANYTHING that you want as long as you are willing to pay for it.
