2012 M3 / I hate not living in a city

My dealership is absolutely useless...

Leave it to the rep in Bumfuck, SW Virginia to try to tell me that the F3X M3 might be coming out in 2012. ..... I should get a free car for that.

I know the dealerships don't get the price sheets for next year's model until right before it drops, but does anyone have an idea of when the they start taking orders on the 2012 M3? Early March?

The 2012 M3 is not the next generation. You won't see a nex gen M3 on the streets for like 3 years.

As noted in the thread posted above, the rest of the M3s made could be all Model year 2011s

Oh I know. I guess I worded that post wrong. That's what I had to tell them over the phone.. Just amazed me at how little they knew.

Yea living in a city for these things is great, however when i wanna open up my M3 I wish i lived somewhere there were areas with no traffic

yeahhhhh but be careful what you wish for. less traffic = more deer.

PKL is right!

The information I have (from someone at M division based in Germany) is, like PKL says, the rest of the M3s made will be 2011s.

In November 2011, the Sedan will STOP (no more sedan forever) production, then early in 2012, the Coupe and Vert will STOP production. Then, just like it always has been, no M3 available for a year or two until the next generation comes out.
