I'm trying to order a spare kit including the jack, tire etc..I did my search and found most of the items but the tire..The ones I found on this forum are 18...I’m wondering if I can put an 18 space saver when the 3 others are 19s..the web doesn't help much whenever you combine the words M3 and spare tire in one sentence. Anyone out there with a spare tire for his 19s? Please let us know the website to order it and the part number if possible. Thanks

The X6 spare wheel is an 18” wheel, and has plenty of brake clearance. If you search the threads, you will find the BMW part number for that wheel, because I remember seeing it in an earlier thread, and included it too. I used a Bridgestone T145/70-18 from Tire Rack. This tire gave very close to the factory OD for the rear tire, which is what you want to match due to rear differential consideration. You won’t see the compact spare tires listed, just call and ask.

18" is it. A lower cost alternative is a Maxxis T135/70R18 tire. It's not as good a match as the Bridgestone T145/70-18, but is less expensive. You should also look at Post #87 in the same thread if you need low cost hub ring adapter sourcing info.

Here is the compact spare tire. Coincidentally, I had to take a wheel into the tire shop today for a new tire, and put on the spare.

I appreciate all the info in this thread. In a couple of week I'm going to be completing the purchase of my E90 M3 and then driving it back to Texas. Hopefully I don't have an issue in the middle of no where!
