ADDED 5mm spacers all around = slight rubbing on sharp low speed turns.

It has little to do with the diameter of the wheels. Rubbing is due to the overall diameter of the tires, width, and offset. The car doesn't know whether you have 18's, 19's or 20's. 18's will rub with the aggressive offsets and tire widths/diameters that some of us are running.
