I would love to come out, but Fridays are no bueno for me. Maybe next time.

James should be Footstrong instead....I just saw his 380mm kit all around bbk purchase....ballin' out of control! :D

My brakes are now child's play compared to his monstrous brakes.... :bellyroll Will it fit his track wheels? I think the APEX ARC-8's fit 380 kits, but I forgot what he was running.

Oh yeah, he's running the Volk TE37SL's with the AD08 Yokos. Forgot about that.

As an aside, I think we need a "track chat thread". :bellyroll

Dunno about super or cage, but I know he's doing some interior....possible cooperative venture between me and him. ;)

I'm vaguely thinking about, when the current lease is over in 10/2013, buying a '08 E92 M3 (no iDrive, etc) and making it a track car (roll cage, Recaro, BBK, the whole 9 yard). By 2013, might be able to pick up a 2008 M3 for... what, 20 to 25k?

If the F30 M3 is out in 2013, that's possible. I think the major price dip will come when the new M3 comes out.

i doubt that cheap

a 2006 M3 in great condition is worth 30k right now

so my guess is a good condition 2008 M3 will be worth 30k in 2013.

maybe a high mileage, not so great condition can be had for low 20s
Ahh, I don't think it matters. Chats hardly stay 'on topic' anyways. :P
Speaking of going off on a tangent, what was Arnold Schwartznegger thinking? lulz
YO question about this. to attend events like this, do i need a track license? (noob question)

helmet is the bare essential.

other things you might want to bring...

folding chair, tools, sun block, tire pressure guage...the list goes on and on.

its really up to you.

if you are coming with some friends, its nice to divide up the essentials
