heh, even the motel 6 around Laguna is stupid, like $100 a night. :)

I just drive down in the morning, but I only live about 1.5 hrs from Laguna.

Cheating doesn't count....

Damn, $100.00 for a Motel 6? That's stupid expensive....

Let's just all crash at kitw's place. :)
^^ hahah
thanks for offering KITW!

=)
hehe. Wish I could house y'all! That's one advantage of SF South Bay... 1.5 hours to laguna, 1.5 hours to Infineon, 3.5 hours to Thill, 4 hrs to Buttonwillow... :D

Yeah I need some track time. After I finish the coilover install on the Elise!

More like I'm curious as to who else runs good, safe, entertaining track events down in SoCal.

I REALLY want to go run a famous track like Laguna Seca. SpeedVentures is running that this month, anyone else interested in going on a pilgrimage to NorCal?
that's far...

if you get something organized I could do it... but damn that's a lot of miles on the car

maybe we should all pay for a carrier or something

I'm sure the price of gas for 4 M3s would cover it

heh, did you get 10k on your lease?
Depending on how much it costs, I'd be down to split a carrier....we would need to carpool in a van or something though.

Just got my M3 back, man oh man is it such a pleasure to drive compared to the Camry....

Yeah

I did the math, and on my 335i, i average 11k per year, less on my Porsches and Merc lol

the thing is, it's a 1% better residual, and when i calculated the numbers, even if i do 11k per year (1k over), I'm still better off than if i had done 12k per year

i don't remember all the numbers, but i think i can drive 12k per and even out. its 16 cent per mile vs 14.6, but when you take in the 1% difference in residual..
point is i rather buy 10k and pay later for more than pay upfront for 12 and have 3k left over lol

i'm at 5300 mi and I'm at almost 6 months; I've been driving the Z4 from time to time

I'll ask my friends from Platte Forme a.g. I'm probably going to swing by and give them back the stock intake pieces that I borrowed. They are usually shipping project cars back and forth from the east coast, so they should know.

ROOOOOOOAD TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!
sounds like fun guys!!!

Well the way i look at it is:

if a carrier comes out cheaper than paying for gas, why not?

We don't have the stress of driving for long hours plus we saved money and didn't put miles on the car :)

win win win IMO
