I've done five HPDE track days now with my current setup--E90 M3 with Dinan Stage III suspension and 275/35-18 Nitto NT01s all around. A couple of days ago at Lime Rock I was really noticing body roll. Obviously some is to be expected in a 3600lb street car, but what would be the next step to reduce it? Would it involve a more aggressive suspension change such as coilovers, therefore rendering EDC nonfunctional? (I ran with EDC in full firm.) And is it even desirable? Would lack of body roll keep me from feeling what the car is doing--is flatter cornering more appropriate for more advanced drivers? The car is my daily driver, too, so I wouldn't want it to be brutal on the street. I'm probably expecting the impossible...
