676 - Match UP 7BMW - Adding center

I bought a Match, X4-BMWCTR.3 center speaker, to use the center channel for on my 676/Hifi system and intended on tapping into the Match 7UPs center channel that is currently not being used.

I have looked at the wiring diagram here

Which shows 24/28 as the Center output + and -. These wires appear to be pink and pink/black. I ran my speaker wire from the dash to the Match 7 and posi tapped these wires with the speaker wire, but am not getting any sound from the center when testing...

Does anyone have any clue how I can or should tap into the center channel from the Match amp?

Cheers!!

Its probably not even on. Do you have the tuning software DSP PC-Tool? Or you can load a new tune with it already turned on.

Yes I have been playing with the software alot, got really annoyed that you have to have a match mic to setup the RTA, lol... Anyways, I have been working on my tune in the DSP and wanted a center for the sound stage. I see the sound being sent to the speaker in the DSP, muted everything but the center, set it to 0 db and no sound is coming from it.

All the other channels are working fine, in the output I made sure that I am sending 50% front left and 50% front right, I do have realcenter turned off right now but that should matter.

Cheers!

Strange. I have a centre speaker to go in aswell. So i havent tested it out yet personally. Hopefully others on here have done this before. I might have to test this out for myself off those outputs and see what happens

Well let me know what you can find. I am not sure I want to cut those pink wires and tap them directly yet..

I am going to see if I can dig up more information first, was hoping someone here might know what to do.

Update:
Called the US distributor, they recommended just splicing into the wires directly and that's what I did and it is working now. Spliced into pin 24 and 28, pink and pink/black on my harness.

Cheers!
