Quels roulements ? Certains ont des procédures différentes et cela semble normal.

C'est la pratique courante pour obtenir le lubrifiant d'assemblage qui a été utilisé dans l'installation du roulement.

The shop that did mine had me change the filter at 500 miles then a filter and oil change at 1k miles...

Break in is not necessary after a rod bearing change.

I ended up changing the oil and filter yesterday.
Was happy to get the car past 3000 rpm as I was instructed to keep it under 3000 rpm for 1000 miles.
We do an oil change after 500 miles and then let it rip! Bearings dont really need to "break in" but there is always small amounts of dirt that gets inside the engine when its torn down for the repair. The oil change is to get the assembly lube out and dirt that may have gotten in there.

If no assembly lube was used, then it's not required. Oiling the bearings with motor oil is what is recommended.
But i would still consider doing an early oil change just to be safe. Did mine at 1500 miles. after my install, install was done with engine oil as lube, no assembly lube.

Mais j'envisagerais toujours de faire un changement d'huile précoce juste pour être sûr. J'ai fait le mien à 1500 miles. après mon installation, l'installation a été faite avec de l'huile moteur en tant que lubrifiant, pas de lubrifiant d'assemblage.

Pas besoin de vidange après le remplacement des Rod Bearings. Avoir un peu de lubrifiant d'assemblage dans l'huile, c'est pas un souci. Les Rod Bearings, ça ne demande pas de période de rodage comme des segments de piston ! Y aura pas de limailles dont il faut s'inquiéter, et les impuretés liées à l'intervention ne posent aucun problème.
Comme ci-dessus, un changement d'huile précoce n'est pas strictement nécessaire après le remplacement du RB. Cependant, c'est une bonne pratique d'enlever tout lubrifiant ou saleté d'installation et pour l'installateur de s'assurer qu'il n'y a pas de copeaux métalliques étranges.
J'ai demandé cela après mes deux services de roulement de tige et on m'a dit que ce n'était pas nécessaire. Je pensais que ce serait une bonne précaution ainsi qu’une bonne pratique puisque les parties internes ont été changées. 279, XXX et toujours au volant.

Je n'ai pas eu de problèmes, mais j'ai mis environ 35k miles pendant ce temps. Les derniers 10 km étaient beaucoup de kilomètres et aller et revenir de la piste.
J'ai changé de mine environ 2500 miles après avoir mis des roulements BE et des boulons ARP. Typiquement, faire des changements d’huile tous les 5k à 7,5k.
