Feel the exact same way. LSB repaint plus finally getting the smog police off my back for another 2 years and freeing up the exhaust, I'm in love. My MPG went down to 11 from 16.5 lol

122k and you'd probably never guess. Some generous forum member sold me some KW Clubsports for $600 and those are going in for a rebuild soon, I'm getting my diff refreshed, and going with solid subframe mounts too. Just had it up on the lift and did a full inspection, surprisingly little rubber rot in ~any~ of the suspension.

but I think that maybe you should rethink that filter brand choice.

I think Wix is not high grade such as Mahle and Mann.

Don’t know how they are now but Wix was a very high grade filter and would not hesitate using it. I’m just on that FCP Euro oil plan and only use the OEM filters

Well, I thought wrong. Just googled it and you're right. They've been on the market since 1939, and are part of the Mann Hummel group.

The crew here in CT was terrific, from consult/design to floors to walls/cabinets. Top notch work all around.

Knocked out a few expected and unexpected items last week. What I originally thought was a torn s/c belt turned out to be a bit more when we noticed that the tensioner pulley had exited the engine bay causing the belt to split. 95k miles and original, guess it was about time. Replaced with a new tensioner pulley assembly and picked up a new smaller belt from Porsche when I noticed that the one that split was a 6PK2125 vs the recommended 6PK2115 for the 96.5mm ESS pulley. While the car was down, knocked out some smaller things I had laying around. Installed new jack pads all around, hardwired my Uniden R7, and installed a OEM+ style Dash Cam:

I backed the car onto a set of ramps and was able to access both on each side. Used a pry tool/flat head on one side, and they were so old and brittle that on most of them one of the clips would break off and then it would just fall out. You can see one of the broken clips on the bag in the pic below:

Here's a cheaper set of 4 for everyone that could stand to replace these. I have them and they are excellent quality. They even have rubber seals on them too.

This happened to me too, but it caught the skid plate and oil pan on its way through too... Replaced the undertray with an MLT Engineering plate to hopefully add a little protection for these bad SoCal roads!

The dreaded throttle actuators…periodic limp mode @ 48k miles on a 2011 E90 Comp. Another Euro Power Motorsports customer. Swapped the plugs while in there since they were last done in 2016 and about 20k miles ago. Just need to seat that finicky plenum, and I’ll be set.
