this thread just reminds me how bad a want 18x10 te37sl square setup for the track
Sorry mine are DIRTY

Damn. I cannot decide. Please help. :help:

Get the TE37 or the TE37SL ?
Does anybody know the exact difference in weight? Let's say between a 9.5x18 TE37 and the SL (or any other comparable size)?

Should I go 9.5" wide all around or 10.5"?
Not sure if 10.5" will clear all around.

Running 4x 19x9.5" OZ Crono at the moment as my track wheels. Not bad but also not perfect.

Do 9.5 front with 10.5 rear, fits perfect
Here are the weights:

Hope that helped! The fronts should be approximately the same difference in weight.
Few shots of our M3 on custom white TE37 SL 18x9.5/18x10.5

( this used setup is currently for sale for those interested )

Anyone got some shots of a Le Mans blue car with bronze/copper colored TE37??

Yep. Notice that there's only a 1" delta between front and rear? This is so that your tire sizes will maintain the same ratio. So if you upgrade, maintain the same ratio as much as possible to maintain the balance of the car. However, if you're only interested in aesthetics, then it doesn't matter. Run what you think looks good.
I though that only matters for the tires. If the tire sizes maintain the balance, doesn't it not matter what wheel sizes you go with, besides the fact that the actual weight of the wheel will be different?

Hi David.
Yes absolutely! That helped a lot.

I suppose that 0.65lbs difference per wheel is in the range where nobody will feel the difference and even on the performance side this minimal difference shouldn't change anything.

Typical TE37SL 18x9/5/10.5 setup with 265 fronts and 295 rears. No rubbing at all.

Exact setup as I have. Looks like standard Volk gloss black. I went with a more gloss black on mine and scratch proof paint. ;) I have same lip and same drop too.
