does the headrest lock in place without the pin?
because if it doesn't, it may not do its job of protecting your head/neck from whiplash
Fixed broken cup holder and did the Leatherique treatment on the seats. Exciting.

Yes, it locks into place the same as before. The pin just prevents the headrest from getting to its lowest position, where a locking notch on the shaft is already. My guess is it's US regulation thing, minimum height from seat bottom to headrest (wild guess). Either way, after you see the pin and realize how it still functions the same as before (and the pin is only on one shaft), you realize it's no safety issue. No way I'd remove it if there was a chance of safety issues.

Drove to the office, then to another of my offices. Then drove home. Living my life 5k+ at a time.
Picked up the car from the shop. Got new rod bearings, motor mounts, and Turner Motorsport aluminum skid plate. Engine feels noticeably smoother both at idle and under throttle, though the oil change probably had more to do with that than anything.

The guys over at ACM did an awesome job. Now I just have to make it 1,000 miles on a 3k RPM leash. This car does not enjoy shifting under 4k. Every gear just begs to be revved.

Upon inspection, the old bearings were looking rough (see pics). Maybe they'd have gone another 60k, but I'm glad I changed them. Definitely worth the peace of mind for me.

Why are you on a 3K leash?

Rod bearings do not need break in. :D
Tried to wash it yesterday. Hurt my lower back in the process due to my right leg hurting from driving so much. I'm going to go on a limb here and say my seating position isn't correct and would need to be adjusted.

ACM recommends keeping the car under 3k rpm for 1000 miles, then an oil change. Not sure how necessary this step is, but I figure following it can't hurt, and is probably smart from a warranty standpoint on the off chance something goes wrong with the bearings.

I wonder how it adds value. I mean I don't think the Rod Bearings would take time to settle.

Thinking about doing the 2 pipe exhaust mod, but on a spare exhaust.

The word from some reputable shops is that rod bearings do not need any break in period. To me, once the engine is at full temperature there really seems to be no point in keeping the RPMs under 3k. Do what makes you happy but I don't think it's necessary - and that's coming from someone who had the RB replacement done right after I purchased the car with 58k. I follow up a regular warm up before letting the RPMs get too high and then I took the car back for an oil change/check after 2500 miles.

Took the car downtown for a meeting and while during the drive there on the highway I had a TPMS Inactive warning light pop up. I was going around 60(ish) mph, and it was a warmer day - 80 degrees maybe.

The warning cleared itself only a minute or two later and went back to All Systems Ok.

I do need new front tires but should I worry yet?

So I know this isn't helpful at all, but is your car parked outside Paddy's Pub from Always Sunny in that photo?
Backed it up, then on some race ramps, then installed some carbon fiber splitters on the front and CobyWheel alcantara bits in the interior.
