Picked up the car from the shop. Got new rod bearings, motor mounts, and Turner Motorsport aluminum skid plate. Engine feels noticeably smoother both at idle and under throttle, though the oil change probably had more to do with that than anything.
The guys over at ACM did an awesome job. Now I just have to make it 1,000 miles on a 3k RPM leash. This car
does not enjoy shifting under 4k. Every gear just begs to be revved.
Upon inspection, the old bearings were looking rough (see pics). Maybe they'd have gone another 60k, but I'm glad I changed them. Definitely worth the peace of mind for me.
