You probably need one of these Gary, its Sammy Approved, a must for those with the speed cloth upgrade.

Malek from MRF did my bearings. He's probably done more than anyone else in the country. He told me there is no need for any kind of breakin. How the would you even break in bearings.

Isn't the break in period on a new engine strictly to seat the piston rings properly.

ACM recommends keeping the car under 3k rpm for 1000 miles, then an oil change. Not sure how necessary this step is, but I figure following it can't hurt, and is probably smart from a warranty standpoint on the off chance something goes wrong with the bearings.

I ditched the stock cabin filters today for the BMS set. Not a huge savings in weight, but a few pounds here and there adds up!

Malek told me the same after he did my rod bearings as well.

I also have the 2 pipe but after only a few short months I'm already longing for the 4 pipe version!

Took the tint off just so I can pass Maryland's state inspection, just so I can put it back on next week before MPact. Not happy one little bit. Over by 3%. Freaking communist state.

Wow. I thought Maryland wasn't very strict on tint. I see all kinds of cars in Virginia that have MD tags with 20% tint.

Yesterday I did the 2.5 OEM exhaust mod. Turned out exactly how I hoped it would, louder than the 2.0 when you are under load but at cruise on the highway it sounds essentially stock, no drone whatsoever.

Would absolutely recommend the 2.5.

The inspector claimed he wasn't willing to risk the fine if he passed me. Not one bit happy I can tell you. $300 between removal and replacement is just asinine in my opinion.
