Pretty sure I also discovered my battery is original (from 2010) and it's given up the ghost. Leaving it on the tender overnight but leaving the car out in the cold with the power draining from getting in and out a bunch gave me a bunch of electrical gremlins including a tamper dot.
Tomorrow off to autozone for a new battery. If it lasted 10+ years god bless it.

I bought 305/30/19 Pirelli Asymetrico 2 for the rear to experiment with fitments.
It is going on 10.5" rim with 22 Offset.
The Asymetrico 2 is a very aggressive tire by its shape. The section width is 12.3" and its tread width is 12".
A typical 305 tire is 12.3" and the tread width can be anywhere from 11" to 11.8".
As a reference, A MPSS is the most aggressive tire in the 295/30/19. Its tread width is 11.5" and it is the widest I can find. The section width is 11.9" which makes the MPSS perfect tire as a rear. Very square.
The MPS4S is a much more rounded tire with the same section width of 11.9", but tread width of 11". This is one of the reasons the 4S is more comfortable on the road.

I probably could've spent a bit more time and I noticed that there were actually some deep scratches that the anti glare was masking. I have yet to drive the car to see if the glare is an issue, if it is I'll see if I can find a laptop screen protector and cut it to size. It was easy to get the screen out so I figured I'll do round two if I need. Definitely requires some elbow grease (though I'd be tempted to try a small orbital pad)

I meant to say "I cleaned my windshield"
Ha...had a feeling you missed that part. I've done that a few times.

Bartledoo wroteIt’s physics; If u have something that’s straight it’s at it’s most rigid state and has the least amount of flex when there’s a vertical force. If you have something curved it’s less rigid and will bend more when there’s a vertical force on itI couldn't find any information implying that.

Replaced the battery today and not only broke one of the small connectors but I think I fried my IDrive controller. Apparently a number of people reported this after battery swaps. Haven't had time to diagnose but if that's the case fuck me I should've just taken it to the dealer.
Will fix the connector later this week and check the fuses but seems like a lot of unlucky folks have had this happen after a battery swap.

Put some smoked reflectors on. I like them - they go well with the black 359s.
Also did some wood butchery and organizing in the M3's bedroom.
Cheers,
