The RB’s were replaced five years ago at 88471 km/54973 miles with 702/703 bearings and BMW bolts. I am now replacing them with BE and BE-ARP bolts. Old RB’s has only got 32383 km/20121 miles on them.

Also interesting with your plasti checking vs old shells, tad weird on cyl 5 but probably not more exact than so.
Assimilator1 wroteI guess that you mean cyl #7, top bearing (once again, sorry for the bad picture, a new one has been uploaded - see my previous post). Measured the play for the old bearings for cyl # 4 and 5. For cyl #5 I got 0,051mm for the old bearing and 0,038mm for the new BE Bearing... Wired. I'm going to remove it tonight and do a new measurement. Good thing that I choose reusable ARP-bolts...You mean 32k kms
Btw where do you see no5 clearance figures? They're obscured to me on that pic....
(No8's figures seem weird to me, been reversed??).
