So much simpler to use one of the coding apps such as protool.
I don't have an android device. So I cant use protool.

Hi. Anyone know how is work tyre reset button (under the hazzard switch) on M3. And can i use one on non-m car. No have wiring in newtis for this button... Thanks
Bumping this thread. Anyone in the San Antonio Texas area that can help me with this coding?
Is it possible to code out TMPS without adding in FTM? Would you just change the options to nicht_aktiv and ignore those that change to aktiv? Or will the car flip out if neither is available?

This should be possible. Just leave anything RPA nicht_aktiv and/or remove $265 from the vehicle order.

Edit: I updated the original post with the parameters that would enable FTM as optional.
So I had my RDC fail and am having problems getting the FTM to work. I was able to get TPMS coded out without issue. I have everything coded properly from what I have seen using Protool. Deleted 2VB. Made sure the RDC components were all not active, and all the RPA options are enabled in Kombi, DSC, and CIC menus. FTM shows up in my CIC but reset is greyed out. After driving I get a 60AD code. I can clear the code but it comes back after driving more and the reset remains greyed out. I have no other codes that should have an impact. The only other code is for transmission fluid deterioration (which is getting done soon). Any suggestions?

Try adding $265 VO and coding defaults on KOMBI, DSC, CIC. Is the RDC module unplugged?

I did add $265 and coded them to default as well as tried removing $265 and coding each module manually. Both resulted in the greyed out reset button, FTM System Error in idrive, and code 60AD. For now I just coded them out so I don't get the dash error.

Something must be missing to be greyed out.

Since you are a non-M what are the exact parameters you changed?

I changed all the settings in Kombi, CIC, and DSC as listed in the first post. The only difference was the DSC module is just DSC and not M3DSC.

In one of the posts the non M one has a different parameter to change. It's like C0F_RPA or something, was that changed too?

All I saw was RPA which I set to enable in DSC, I will have to comb through the options again to double check it was the only one.

What version of DSC module do you have? MK60_87.Cxx? This is a non-M right?

In MK60_87.C0F, there is a parameter called C0F_RPA - wert_00 = !direct_RDC

All I have seen in the DSC menus on Protool is "variante: DXC_90_16" it's a 2011 E91 328 xDrive.

The RPA options I found:

Ausstattung_RPA, which I have disable for now but it was enabled when I was getting the FTM error.

RPA_Warnschwellwert_1 set to value 2

RPA_Warnschwellwert_2 set to value 1

RPA_Warnschwellwert_3 set to value 04

RPA_Warnschwellwert_4 set to value 09

There is also US_Variante: enabled in the expert mode of Protool under the Tire puncture warning (RPA) threshold value menu.

The only other RPA setting I've found was in JBBF which is RPA_Switch. I set that to active but I am still getting the error with a greyed out Reset button in the CIC

I never tried this with protools so sorry. But in ncsexpert it should show something to enable RPA.

I can confirm that the car does not flip out if neither tire monitoring system is active. I removed the RDC module and coded tpms out and had a couple week gap until Alex coded FTM active for me. No adverse behavior from the car in that time. I forgot to have him activate FTM in my display so I can reset it in idrive but that can be done later.

I'm trying to enable FRM on my non-M manual E90 without i-drive and coded KOMBI, don't need to code CIC/CCC and don't know what do I do about DSC module. I do have this in my DSC, should I change it to wert_00 to enable FRM?
C0C_RPA
wert_01

The only other "RPA" option in my DSC is:
C0C_RPA_SCHWELLE
wert_00
wert_02

Change C0C_RPA - wert_00

You should be able to leave C0C_RPA_SCHWELLE alone. That is the threshold to trigger the flat.

Thank you! I should be good to test then (deflate a tire).. TPMS reset is available in the menu but it's unclear if it works or not, no confirmation on reset success or failure is given..

Off to new a new adventure how to get rid of bmw assist :)

It should say FTM (flat tire monitor if that is enabled instead of TPMS).

BMW Assist is related to $639 VO if you want a hint ;)
