redpriest wroteI've started to fiddle with 305/645-18 DH's and the Strom uprights as well but didn't get mine in there (yet). They almost worked with 10.5x18 et24 and 10mm spacers but I think I need to grind quite a bit more of the behind the fender sheet metal to make that happen. I could and should also remove my front helper springs but didn't want to rush anything. Went with 285/645-18 fronts for this weekend but may try again. Documented with photos in the below thread.The Strom uprights require me to put a 12mm spacer in front to clear the strut towers with 18x10.5 ET22 wheels. With 295/30-18 RE-71RS or 305 Pirelli DHBs you'll see they peek out a little bit. I don't really have a better solution atm other than deal with it.

i've read that turner motorsport uses dry sumps because they can then use a front bladed swaybar when the oil pan is removed.
i guess its better for a car that sees a lot of high G's... is packaging better? does it have better cooling potential?
