A year ago I flew into Phoenix at 930 in the morning and two hours later was heading home with my sedan. Celebrating one year in Rocky, my Harrop ‘11 e90 6MT. 18,000 miles, 2 countries, 7 states, 3 car shows, 3 road events, three major road trips and another family vacation. What an incredible year in a car!

You drove too much miles in a year for a M3. 😄
Bought some seats for my M3.
One is used from 2007 (still in great shape considering the age).
The other is brand new.

Both will be getting a full decontamination cleaning, polished rear kevlar, and PPF to protect it and keep it looking perfect.

You've done an incredible job on your refresh. Can you tell us about the color - paint versus wrap? What color green is it? What's going on with the roof? looks like carbon fiber but also appears to be a sunroof.

I'm also in love with your color. Btw everytime I see a green car it reminds me this scene :)

Thanks! It’s Avery Dark Gloss Green! If I had unlimited money I would’ve sent the car for a full repaint (and green interior stitching) but I don’t, so the wrap was the next best thing. And good eye on the roof, it’s a normal roof wirh CF wrap. My wrap installer did an amazing job, even the rear parking sensors and headlight washers are individually wrapped so it really doesn’t look like a wrap.

Can’t argue with that one lol

The previous car I had was also green (a 1/3 Audi TTS in Audi exclusive RS green (from the 997 GT3RS)). Unfortunately there was no individual green e92 in my budget (45k) so I opted for space grey + wrap. There is a Java Green e92 in Houston that if ever comes up for sale I’ll try to buy.

does it upgrade sound quality without changing any other elements of the sound system?
Removed my front bumper, and found this part inside it. What could it be?

Replacing both rear OEM spec Michelin PS4s with 275 width Conti DWS06+
Put my re finished ZCPs + tires on

Just crossed 83k miles on my '08 today. Had the tires road force balanced in prep for track season starting up.
Retrieved my car from its snowy tomb after having to abandon it at a nearby business two days ago, with our metro area getting as much as 11" of snow on a forecast of max 1".

Learned a couple key things this week:

Conti all season tires - perfectly fine in light snow and ice along with careful driving, but fairly worthless if you add much of an incline and need to come off from a stop. I live on a hill and a snowstorm caught everyone by surprise, mine joining 5-6 other cars at the base of the hill trying to sort out next steps.

Traction socks - wasn't able to evaluate because I could not get them onto the tires due to the low tire clearance to the wheel well. I may be able to use a flexible rod to slide them over the tires and will give that a go in the comfort of my garage.

Daily driving an M3 takes some planning!

Pictured is me parked later in the day….500 WHP snowy house calls, come snow or rain

Over the past couple days.
Cleaned her, installed my carbon diffusers and spoiler. Got my wheels refinished and mounted on some PS4s. Got the spinning BMW logo center caps. Looking good and installed my carbonproject plenum

It does, yeah. I posted a longer writeup in my journal over in the Photo Gallery subforum.
