Thanks for the question. The 18x10 ET25 will clear that AP kit (13.01.10037) for the E9x M3 without any spacer required.

The E9X M3 platform has been a chassis with some of the most interested and vocal enthusiasts asking for on-car photography of our ML-10RT wheels. Given how good they look on this E92, its easy to see why. We’re excited to feature 18” and 19” staggered fitments on this clean M3 in our Motorsport Gold and Race Silver finish. Our most popular staggered fitment for the E9X M3. This fitment showcases a deeper wheel profile in the rear with our ML-10RT. The advantage of creating this classic design with Monoblock forged construction is that our spoke profiles can be more concave and optimized on a per fitment basis unlike 3 piece options that have a fixed spoke shape. The 18x10.5 ET22 takes full advantage of the wider rear fender arches to run a lower offset profile 4 deeply concave wheel.


The generous fenders of the E92 allow wider and low offset fitments to be run, especially on modified cars. For owners looking to run the widest rear we offer or an aggressive square track fitment, we do have an 18x11 ET25 coming for the ML-10RT line as well.

This 19” staggered fitment is the other side of the staggered coin. We opted to showcase a unique option that used our popular 19x9.5 ET22 wheel up front and our 19x11 ET44 in the rear. While the rear wheel requires a spacer for ideal fitment on the E9X M3, this fitment is a great way to run the widest possible fitment on the rear of one of these cars that fills the rear wheel well without the headache of messing with the fenders.

I love the gold as well. I just got motorsport gold ML-10RTs mounted on my personal car and it's a great color. I'm normally not a bold wheel color type of person but its subtle enough to really blend in.

anyone tried both sizes on road/track? It's 100% for street / fun road trip driving in my case but curious to hear any track experiences.

obviously keen on the 17 inches for lighter weight vs. 18 inches.


looking at options, tyre choice in UK is limited/expensive for 17 inches.
most common size is 225/45R17 but these wheels look better with 245 & 255/40 R17 (£150-£200) Michelin PS or Goodyear Eagle F1)

tyre choice is greater on 18 inches with 245 40 R18 being quite popular and readily available (£120).

Has anyone observed the 17 inch setup is significantly better (cornering, acceleration) than 18 inch?

You're posting in the M3 section so most of these guys will be running 18s or larger in terms of diameter. The e9X non-m equivalent of this thread can be found here if you want relevant community feedback: Official APEX Wheels Showroom Gallery Thread

From my perspective, 17s are lighter and the wheels are cheaper, but availability in the typical sizes is really going downhill. My advice would be to select a tire you would want to run and see if it is available in the 17" sizes you want. 18s are our most commonly sold diameter for the E9X non-m chassis and still have good availability.

Considering picking up the below fitment for my winter tire set (I currently have 19” ZCP wheels/PS2s now which won’t work in northeast US winter). The ZCP package has 19x9 / 19x10 staggered setup stock and I’m curious if switching to the below (with 0.5” different between front and back) will pose any issues?

Front: 18 x 9 ET30 Tire: 245/40/18
Rear: 18 x 9.5 ET22 Tire: 255/40/18

OEM GTS is 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 for reference. 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 will be more unlikely to cause issues as a bolt on fitment while mostly retaining OEM stagger. You could go down to 30 profile but then you reduce tire diameter and I'm not sure if the asker would care about the ride comfort drop from a thinner sidewall.

As for ECS02: great street tire, cheaper than PS4S, probably less performant than V601. depends on what you're looking for but I would recommend ECS02 over PS4S due to price point while checking the same boxes. I've been recommended the V601 but haven't personally used it, but did two track days on the original ECS before getting ECFs.

edit: V601 isn't available in E9x sizing for 19" besides OEM 245/35 and 265/35. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/yokohama-advan-apex-v601 I still might try it as my street tire since I see a 275/35/18 though and I'm looking to get a street wheel set...

Man, I kind of regret getting the VSR5's after seeing b58bud's shots with the ML-10's.

I went with the VSR5 because of weight and I could get them right away.

Yes, these are the 19s and offsets you posted are correct. Thank you so much for the information. Now that the weather is starting to turn nice I’m thinking about getting some tires mounted finally.
